I Found One!

Not exactly like Betty Ninja's, but close enough for me! Turns out I had $13 instead of the $3 or 4 I thought. This cute cabinet was $10 and I bought some daisy dishes too but my camera batteries died before I could get pictures. Something is going on with my batteries, they aren't holding a charge real long these days. Anyway...

There is a groove along the top and bottom where sliding doors used to be so I can put some on, or not. I love it!!

Wow, I swear I have one that looks so much like this one, shorter legs and it's natural wood. But the same shape and the metal bottoms on the legs. It never had the sliding doors on it. It's in Noah's closet with his books and stuff in it.
It's been around all my life, from my parents house.
Cool find! Now I want to go thrifting!

Congrats on your find. I think my first MIL had one just like it.

I love the new score! It's too cute, and doesn't it just fit perfectly in that space?!?!?

I am impressed by your great find in that book case or what not holder:)
I t fits your special place for a find like that perfectly. I love thrift stores, antiquing, side of the road finds, etc. In, short you are a girl after my own heart.

I have to mention the owl picture. If it is needle point and bargello, you have my owl. I did it in the 1970s.

LET ME KNOW, Jeanne

Yep it sure is Jeanne! I bought it at the local Methodist church yard sale a few years ago. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a better picture of it and some of my other owly stuff!

Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog. That means I get to see yours! Looks like we have a LOT of common interests. I had a bookshelf like that growing up, without the legs. It had cool sliding doors on the front and the back so you could get to it from either side. Loved that thing.

I'm bookmarking you so I'll be back to visit again! -- Trixie in Oklahoma
